Gyeokguk — BaZi Chart Structures (格局)
Gyeokguk (格局, the chart's 'structure' or pattern) is the framework that classifies a whole BaZi chart by its dominant force — usually the strongest energy rising from the month branch. The eight 'proper' structures are each named for a Ten God (Direct Officer, Seven Killings, Direct and Indirect Wealth, Eating God, Hurting Officer, Direct and Indirect Resource), while special 'follow' structures (從格) describe charts that yield to one overwhelming force.
