Direct Wealth (正財)

Steady, earned income and committed resources.

Definition

Direct Wealth (正財, zhèng cái) is the Ten God for the element the Day Master controls, with the opposite yin-yang polarity. It is the second Wealth (財) god.

Meaning in a chart

Direct Wealth represents stable, earned money: a regular salary, diligence, frugality, and carefully managed, owned assets. It values reliability, planning, and commitment over speculation. In classical readings of a male chart it can also indicate the wife. Where Indirect Wealth is fluid and opportunistic, Direct Wealth is steady and dependable.

Example

Wood controls Earth, so if your Day Master is 甲 (Yang Wood), then 己 (Yin Earth) is your Direct Wealth — opposite polarity.
